The only negative is that unless your wires are within the ceiling cavity there is no room for them. I ended up cutting a circle in the mount to make that little bit extra space. This could have been part of the design rather than a voided space in the mount panel.

It reattaches firmly sliding but be careful of the live wiring connectors when it is separated. The lights themselves are quite bright and I wish they were dimmable now.
