Even have a blue ray drive so I can burn movies and also my iPhone 7 is connected. It gets slightly warm and that's he only negative I have. My other laptop doesn't even have a micro sd slot and this has both a micro and standard slot. I was afraid of making the jump to a MacBook because of the usb c ports but this made it 170% easier for the windows to Mac jump. I even have another one for a back up because I can't see myself using any other adapter if I break my first one.
