I also wear stud earrings and the backs would always press into my neck while using a regular pillow, which made it hard to get comfortable. I never take my earrings out, so it's been a bit of an issue. That's why I love the ear hole in this! No more stabbed neck! It has just the right thickness and isn't too small or too big so I really ended up liking it! It definitely makes sleeping on my side a lot more comfortable and helps to support my spine.

He needed a pillow that would support his neck and his shoulder too while he was forced to sleep on his back in the hospital bed. This was perfect! When the head of his bed was elevated it worked great and didn't bend his head forward like the regular pillows were doing causing strain on his neck and shoulder. He is normally a side sleeper and the ear hole is an added benefit to the neck and shoulder support. We are extremely pleased with this purchase!

I have tried so many pillows that have been contoured to correctly angle the head and neck, but could never find one that was comfortable enough to quickly fall asleep on. This pillow is an excellent solution for people with neck alignment issues that sleep a majority of the time on their side. Even if you turn side to side, as long as you set your ear in the ear hole, you will be stay aligned and have considerably less neck pain in the morning. I pack this pillow when I travel because hotel pillows are very inconsistent; I even bought a second pillow which I keep in my mother's guest room so I don't have to pack it when I visit. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is the second one of these pillows I have purchased for my husband. He finds them the most helpful and supportive. He is not necessarily a side sleeper, but he uses the pillow on his back to provide the neck support he needs. My only complaint is that the cover on this one is not made of the same soft material as the original. It is harder to take off and put on for washing. It also would be good if covers could be sold separately, or an extra cover included with the pillow.
