Use method:

Spread the bait on the 5 grooves (Please do not use hard objects as bait).

I like everything about this bug zapper except the spring loaded side panel.... it is easy to release to clean the grid but difficult to close, needs a small lip on the bottom to push down the lower bar on the springs while allowing you to guide the top into the narrow channel. That said I hung this is in the garage hoping to prevent flies from following me into the house.... and it works! I empty the tray once a week and there are dozens of flies, bees, and moths, and hundreds of mosquitos, gnats, etc. in it each time. You do hear a sharp snap... but it's a rewarding sound!

We do our happy dance every time we hear the snap! We are using it for mosquitos. There are tons of them in Florida. Somehow they get into our house and we can’t see them. This bug zapper attracts them so we believe it is working better than we had expected. Highly recommend this bug zapper.
