    I love this sweeper. It picks most everything up on a flat surface, and does nearly as well on a flat rug. I purchased this originally to pick up the dog food pebbles that gather around the dog food dish. My corded vacuum for hardwood floors did not do well picking up the pebbles, but the swivel sweeper gathers them all. I do use it often for short spurts, so I need to charge it a couple times a week. It doesn't last more than 2 to 3 years with daily use, but I then order another. I did try a replacement battery, but it had less power and did not last 6 months. I highly recommend this purchase.

    I have back problems and using a broom to sweep the floor is very, very painful for me... so I use a sweeper all the time. I've been very happy with this swivel sweeper. If you've seen the commercials that show how closely it hugs stuff when you turn it, it's TRUE. There are two prongs on the top of the sweeper that allow you to dump the dirt without touching the dirty pan. It even works okay on indoor-outdoor carpeting (I know... I'm not supposed to use it there!). The only thing I'm not sold on is the way the battery is attached and charged, but for the price I can definitely put up with that.

I have long, fine hair that permanently clogs vacuums and is difficult to sweep. This product picks up all my hair. It is also very easy to remove my hair from the product due to the dettachable pieces. I would highly recommend it for anyone who has trouble cleaning up hair in small areas. However, I wouldn't throw out your vacuum and broom. The dust reservoir is so small, I have to empty it halfway through cleaning the floor in my room. I don't think it's meant to clean the whole house in one fell swoop.

    I have two cats and hardwood floors. I have been through many vacuums and cordless sweepers and this seems to be working best for me. I like the four brushes all rolling inward to contain dirt and litter. This means I can move it around the floor in any direction, making clean up much faster. Also, since other sweepers have one roller brush sweeping at high speed, some of those litter particles fly right under the machine and hit my bare feet, making me have to double and triple sweep. Same issue with vacuums which is why you turn off the beater bar on smooth floors. Combine the effectiveness of this four inward sweeping system and the low price and this is a bargain.

I found a great mop but prepping the floor meant either sweeping (not effective enough) or dragging out one of my vacuum cleaners. I hoped this swivel sweeper would be quick and efficient. It is! Not only does it pick up the dust, crumbs, dog hair and debris on the floors but, since the handle flattens all the way, it picks up dust off the carpet under the low furniture my vacuum can't access. It glides on the tile floors behind the toilets saving me from bending down, it works on low pile area rugs and we even use it on the carpeting on our boat. One of the best features is that it comes apart for easy cleaning of the brushes. I bought one for my daughter who runs a day care in her home and she loves it too. I highly recommend it!!

It was compactly packaged with the handle in 3 pieces, but the parts were clearly marked & easy to put together. It came charged so I could try it out right away. First thing I noticed was it is very light-weight, but not so much that I felt like it was flying all over and not doing the job. I have a one-floor home, and I vacuumed the whole house in five or six minutes, including carpet and area rugs! It was so easy to handle, went into the corners, under the couch (which I really wanted), and up against the walls. There are brushes on all four sides, so it doesn't matter which way you do it.     This is my third swivel sweeper since they first came out many years ago. This isn't my third due to the fact that swivel sweeper breaks easily, instead it is due to constant use. As someone with a majority of hardwood and ceramic tile floors in my house and a cat, I find this to be a neccessity to keep my house clean. The swivel sweeper quickly and easily cleans up cat hair, crumbs, grass, and pretty much any non liquid that you might get on your floors. While I don't tend to use it on our couple carpeted areas, I have and find it to work well there too. On carpets you don't get that deep clean that you get with a dyson or comperable product, but in a pinch it does work. I love the new removable brushes for quicker hair removal and clean up. I used to get annoyed having to use the hair remover to pull the hair off of the old ones, so this is a great new feature.

It's a pretty small so it doesn’t hold a lot, but it only takes two seconds to press the little buttons while you hold it over the trash. I figured while I was emptying it, I'd try removing the brushes and see just how easy it is to clean them, since that was one of the big selling points for me (having a teenage girl with LONG hair). I had to consult the book after I couldn’t figure out how to remove them myself, but then it was easy. I can see, though, as some reviews say, that it might be a little tough for an older person, especially if they have arthritis. I popped each brush out, pulled off the hair, and while it didn't come off quite as easily as it did in the infomercial, it was still easy. Just a little pulling and it came right out. I can see I’ll have to do it pretty often, maybe every other time I use it.

    This product is great for the price it works great around corners and on hard surfaces and light rugs. Not a carpet vac nor great for hair as you have to clean it out of the brushes just like any roller brush vac. This is probably my sixth or seventh unit the only down size is the poor battery life it last for the first few months but as most things made in China it just is made as a disposable unit. I still can’t find a comparable vacuum for under 200.00 that has brushes all the way around and can pickup against corners and is also easy and light weight. This is easy for even children and elderly folks to use since it weighs a few pounds. I have recommended this to family and friends. If you can buy a second battery and you can easily get them off the product website as well as spare brushes for the bottom which can be replaced after 6-8 months of heavy use. We use them for two toddlers and they work great on cherrios and other cereals that tend to litter the house.
