I have relatively thin hair, and I have tried different types of hair curler in the past. They all gave me nice curls, but the biggest issue was that my hair was naturally super straight, and none of those curlers can give me curls that last for more than 4 hours, despite the fact that I always sprayed a ton on my hair hoping the curls would last longer.

It took a little trial and error, but it really is fun to experiment. The picture shows hair curled last night, heat level three, no steam and max setting time. This was only my second time using it and I feel like it went twice as fast as the first. I slept on the curls and even did a hard weight training workout and the curls still have great volume.     So far, this has worked perfectly! I'm horrible with hair and far too clumsy to use a normal curling iron without burning myself. This machine sucks up my super thin, very straight hair without burning me or my hair and beeps in 4 seconds to let me know my curl is done. I didn't use any hair products nor did I use the steam option and my curls stayed in all evening. Even after the curls relaxed a bit, it was still curly and added an unexpected volume (as much as flat, straight, thin yet prefectly healthy hair can get).

I went back and read the instructions and turns out you have to leave your hair in there until you hear several beeps. Once I did it the right way, OMG! I love how quickly and perfectly every curl is created. My hair is very long, almost to the top of my butt, so I was hesitant about allowing this machine to suck it into the device but I had no issues at all.

    Amazing! It was easy to use, curled my hair in a matter of minutes and I did not have any hair get stuck in the chamber. Why it worked for me: I have very fine and thin hair so it was easy to get small enough portions of hair to fit in the chamber and I do not have a lot of hair so it took minutes to curl my whole head. I could see how this tool could be more challenging and take longer for someone with normal to thick, full boddied hair. I experimented with the timing of the curls and found when I only kept it in a few seconds (even less than the lowest 8 second setting) I got nice smooth waves instead of the ringlet curls (this also made it much faster to curl all my hair). And a little trick: if you twist the section of hair a couple times it makes it easier to guide it into the chamber and less likely to get caught! Over all, if you have fine, thin hair this is a life changer!!

    After doing lots of research I finally ordered this. I was nervous that I would not get an authentic product but this is good and the real deal. It comes with booklet, cleaner, and an extra steam cartilage. I ordered the one with steam. I haven't used the steam feature and I don't think I need to. I wanted loose curls so I used the low setting and 8 seconds. I sectioned my hair and when I came to front I switched from alternate setting to where it's away from my face. I had to use my hands and open curls up a bit and used some argon oil too. Overall it's a great product and it does exactly what it says. If you are good with curling rod then you don't need this. My curls lasted for 3 days. I only got my hair stuck in once and that's because I put too much hair and didn't comb and smooth it out first. You should read instruction book and lots of u tube tutorials on this. Happy curling
