It does hold a charge decently and is pretty strong for the first 5-7 minutes or so but like all portable handy vacs, the suction power diminishes rapidly. So far, I haven't been able to use it more than 15 minutes before it needs a recharge. It charges quickly, is simple to clean and is basically everything I expected. I'm happy with the purchase.

So I have one of the higher end vaccums at home which is the dyson v11 but let me tell you this thing is great! The filter system is pretty simple and straightfoward and you just open it up to empty the can, the only downside might be i guess if you have to clean the filter ive noticed stuff kinda sticks to it pretty hard since the filter is what keeps the dirt and junk from reaching the motor. It came with 2 filters and cleaning brush tools. This has a handy light which i thought would be useless but it is amazing for seeing into nooks and crannies and corners. Would make a great tool to clean your car with! Definitely recommend this, for the price to value!

I am not cleaning the filter after every use. Some substances cling to the filter, but dry crumbs and fern refuse do not. I just empty it and wash the filter only when necessary.
