I wasn't sure what to do since I didn't really want to kill anything, and I didn't want to put out anything that my dog could get into. I heard that they things worked so I plugged them in and actually left my house (for vacation, to visit family for holidays) for a MONTH and when I got back, I found no droppings or any signs of in intruder so job well done.

I bought this brand because the same brand sold at hardware stores come in a 2 pack and i trust this brand because my mom use it at her house and has great results. The hardware stores sell a very similar product by this brand but costs more when sold in a 2 pack. I like this because it's a sleek design and only takes up 1 plug so u can use the other plug for other electronics. I put one in the garage, bathrooms, and bedroom. It doesn't bother my dog at all. The nightlight is not super bright or strong so the light doesn't bother me. I cannot hear any noise emitting from it. It's been about 2 weeks since purchasing and I haven't seen any silverfish, spiders, or cockroaches so I'm happy. And plus it's safer than spraying chemicals in and around the house. I totally recommend!

I had my pest control company come out and they kept saying I was hearing lizards on the outside stucco wall. The other day I swore I heard a squeak and had had enough. I ordered these, and when I tell you the exact moment I plugged it into the outlet I heard all sorts of commotion under the tub, like whatever it was was trying to get the hell out of there. I have since plugged 2 in that bathroom and one in each room adjacent to that wall. Dogs have not alerted to the tub and it's been quiet since.
