This has been a great addition to my introduction to Pilates and it's great for general strength training as well! It's easier/better for me than free weights but provides similar benefit. I like that it's one piece but I can use it to work out my arms, legs, and abdominals too. It's got so many uses! Initially I had difficulty getting the tube to wrap around the bar and stay wrapped in order to get more resistance, but with a little practice and seeing it done on some videos online, it DOES work! I'm very pleased with this purchase and look forward to finding more ways to use the equipment from the free ebook and other online resources. Highly recommend!

This Pilates bar was incredibly easy to set up! The bar comes in 3 pieces and all you have to do is screw the pieces together. I started using it about 5 minutes after removing it from the box. I use it to get a good workout in the mornings before I start my day. The bands provide enough resistance to really feel like you’re getting a good burn and working your muscles. I highly suggest using the workout guide/ebook that comes with it to get a better understanding on workouts that are best for you.

There are resistance bands and you can turn the bar to tighten up the bands for more resistance which is a plus! It still gives you a nice workout that works out different muscle groups. The item itself was sturdy and love the color purple. When you want to increase resistance, just wrap the band around the bar and start working out! If you wrap the resistance band around the bar it slips. Trying to find a fix for this as I do like the product.
