No problem with bit breakage or poor machining. But I've got about 3 bits broken anyway, so I'm expecting it to happen anyway. Again, great for 3/4" material. Don't expect it to work well on other thicknesses.

I didn't have any problems with the drill bit included in the kit (others have noted some issues that made me a little hesitant to buy it). If you don't mind the mess of powdered graphite, I find it helpful to coat the inside of the die with graphite to minimize drill bit friction.

Have made bags of wholes for wainscote and this is perfect. Spreading everything up gave me the perfect square. Liked 50 bars in 30 minutes. If you need pocket bags and plan to do a project that requires a lot of repetition with pocket bags. That is a must have. Cut time in half
