Having just had a crack repair I annoyingly got another stone chip with small cracks. I decided to give this a go. The instructions are clear and understandable.

Ensure you line the chip up with the centre of the suction applicator.

The auctions hold well and after applying the liquid drops I could see from inside the car that the chip and small cracks emanating from the chip had been filled and we're invisible. After allowing to dry I removed the suctioned applicator and struggled to see where the repair was.

I am impressed with this kit and the liquid is resealable so I have it ready for the next chip. My chip and cracks were the size of a five pence piece.

To start off my dislikes of the product, I thought the instructions contained within the product were hard to understand and required a bit of thinking about what to do and how to do it. Also i thought the rubber seal was a bit small and to larger chips/cracks it would be difficult to seal.



However, that is a small dislike into what i found to be an excellent product very easy to set up and with a bit of mechanical thinking was very easy to use, had a small crack on the passenger side of the car and when time is taken to prep and apply the product the results are solid, the crack is still there however but unless someone is told that there is one I don't think anyone will see it.

I'd used similar from Halfrauds years ago, long before the days of the www became what it is, so headed back there, luckily via their website, to find repairs were now done by them and seemed rather costly.

So the search began. I landed here because it most closely resembled the one I'd used with great success.

After not having aligned my crack with the tool correctly, mostly due to my lack of height, I got on a beer crate and tried again. Success, all terribly easy and quick too. Off to cure in the sun for 10 mins, a quick final scrape and mum is over the moon.

Recommended yes indeed. All I will say, is don't pull the repair bottle tab off with your teeth, I had a little try of it and it's not so tasty!! Other than that, I'd buy again in a heartbeat.

I was a bit sceptical about how well a 10 quid window repair kit was going to be, and I was in two minds as to trying this or going through the insurance company for a repair - so I decided to try this rather than potentially ending up with a 200 excess if Autoglass couldn't repair the chip and had to replace the windscreen ( 200 excess ffs! - Admiral BTW).

I am very impressed with how well it worked and how easy it was to do; I ended up repairing three small old chips as well as the one I bought the kit to repair. My main chip was a 'bullseye' about the size of 5 pence piece, with fine radiating, tendril-like cracks about 5mm in length. The repair took less than 15 minutes and afterwards the damage is barely noticable; the cracks are gone and the only visible imperfection is a 1mm opaque spot.

In summary:

Easy to use.

Quick.

Cheap.

Good results - to be fair, the damage to my windscreen occured four months ago and the kit does say best results are achieved if the repair is attemped immediately after the damage.

Can be used more than once - you get 5 curing strips, but I cut them in half for my smaller chips.

Will 100% buy this again (if I get more chips and the suff I've saved runs out).

Used on the back of my daughter's mobile phone which was basically shattered. It didn't remove all the cracks but it did make a significant difference. Also used it on the front for a couple of cracks and they're no longer visible.

Glad I bought this to fix one of my car's windscreen. If the crack is not too deep, it is fine to use and will fix the crack for use! Used it on another car with a deeper crack, cannot fix it probably. so recommended for small cracks.

Really good I got a chip in my windscreen put this stuff on left to dry in the sun for 10 minutes. And it's sorted just scrape excess away with blade provided you can barely notice the chip now unless you go up really close. Good job.

Looked at a few of these things before buying this one. Works really well. Enough resin for about six repairs. I already had a UV light for curing the stuff. It will cure in sunlight but you need a good sunny day else it can take some time. Very pleased with product and the results.

Was very skeptical it it would work, 100% recommend to anyone it was either this or pay someone to carry out the repair- saved me a few quid an was done in less than 30 mins
