I only have it on my widows (French doors) for a few days, but appears to be holding up well. It reflects the sun and keeps the heat out. A trick I found was to only apply some Gila spray to the film as oppose to both the window and film tint. The adhesion is a little better, but you must work the product within a few minutes. Also ensure the sun isn't hitting the window directly at the time of application. This will cause the liquid to dry to quickly and won't allow enough time to squeegee out the excess.

At night you can see into the room from outside if my lights are on, but it looks a little bit darker than it would otherwise. As for the heat reduction claim, I didn't notice that much difference. It is definitely filtering out some UV rays so perhaps it is slowing down the heat, and it should help prevent items in the room from being bleached by the sun.

Absolutely cannot see into the room from the outside in the daytime. Just be aware that you can see inside after dark. I was a bit clumsy cutting the product for the first window and had to fill in gaps along the edge with smaller pieces. Not noticeable from the outside. Just make sure you have a good tool to smooth out the bubbles. Makes the job much easier.

I ordered this to try and see if it would help keep heat out of my sun room in Florida. I did 2 out of 6 windows and noticed a difference immediately. I reordered to finish all the windows (which are old style 14 inch wide, 4 pane Jalouise windows). I then decided to order more to finish all the windows that are in the sun all day. Directions are easy to follow, easy to install. Depending on how much you have to cut, you may need help with that. Just wish it came wider than the 35 inches. Absolutely love the difference!

Best tips I can give is make sure your window is super duper clean or you’ll get little bubbles everywhere. Instructions call for soapy water, but that didn’t work for me. Just spray regular water, and LOTS of it. That being said I’m pretty happy with the results! In the pictures you can see the film on the right side (left on the inside) and how well it obscures seeing in and all it does it darken it slightly on the inside

I suggest lightly spraying (misting) the window before applying, buying a rubber edged smoothing tool to smoothe out any bubbles/excess water and using a metal rugar and box knife to cut away the edges. VERY happy with this product and it only has a very light mirrored finish on the outside so it looks very nice as well. Great transparency, can still see very well outside.

Kespen film is thicker, while Gila was too thin so it sometimes wrinkled when I tried to smooth it with a squeegee. Also, Gila was too sticky, making it harder to slide on the window to adjust its position. Kespen film was easy to slide into position.
