We used it on a sliding glass door and will be using what is left on the doggie door shown on the left. Keeps the bright sun out and I can leave the blinds open all day with the mirrored look outside. I used to hate closing and opening the blinds throughout the day and now they just stay open until the sun goes down. This sliding glass faces west so it would always get the bright hot sun between 4-6. Feels cooler now. I’d say it was a 5/10 to install. It takes two people and all the right tools. So i really suggest the tool kit. Just be patient and youtube! Now i can just leave it open and love it!! It has been installed about a week and no bubbles, or lifting. The nice thing is that you can’t ruin it. If you mess up, you can just pull it off and do it again.

However, it was pretty straightforward if you follow the steps carefully. The most difficult part was trimming the film once it's placed on the window. As for putting it on the windows, it will help if there are 2 people because the roll is hard to keep flat when your trying to measure and cut. I will be purchasing more film for my bedroom windows. The film comes with instructions which appear a little confusing to understand. But DO follow instructions of every single step. Specially the one where you place transparent plastic back on, this will prevent scratching the film on the window when using the squiggy thingy.
