The lights inside my apartment were on and you could still only see the glow of them and nothing else, even with my bed being about 2-3 feet in front of the window. The lights are on the left side of the room, opposite my bed. Camera didn’t capture that glow but it was there. Even with a LOT of air bubbles, some gaps and wrinkles, the mirrored effect still works great and peels off easily. Great product!

    Works perfect. Used it for master bedroom slider. Added privacy and keeps room cool. No instructions came with it but I watched a utube video. Wash interior window well. Cut it 1 inch longer and wider than window. Use spray bottle with water and a couple drops of dish soap. Spray window and film. I used a 6 inch squeegee to get most of water out and a credit card to remove any remaining bubbles. Trim with utility knife and 6” putty knife as a guide. Plan 20 minutes to half hour a window.

It’s pretty easy to install, but it works best with 2 people for ease of holding it up. It works PERFECTLY. I can see outside, but even with your face pressed up to the window, there’s no creeping in on me. I have an east/west exposure. I decided to give this tint a try because of the non-adhesive and I rent I don't own, so I didn't want to damage the windows. I purchased the silver-black film. The picture I've attached has the tint installed on the left window pane and the right side is the before. It's made a difference, it feels a lot cooler in that area since I installed the tint. I've installed tint before so it didn't take long to put up.

I use to have to pull the curtains until the sun move which made it too dark during the daytime. For me there is nothing easy about installing any of the films for one reason my hands shake which doesn’t help. However the film is forgiving as you can pull it up again for realignment if needed. It does seem to make my house cooler. I liked it so much I have installed on all my windows. Just make sure your windows are very clean as this could cause an installation problem.

    We used the black color on our skylight in our master bath. It’s been a problem since we moved in for being a magnifying glass into our bathroom and adjacent bedroom. It got so hot during the direct sun. I installed this film, and it’s a surprisingly drastic change. Our bathroom is surprisingly cool, the reflective coating on the one side reflects the heat while allowing us to still see out of it. It works! Only time will tell how it will hold up over time. My only suggestion would be to use two people to cut it. It very much wants to roll back into itself while the protective backing is still attached. Once it’s removed it is very floppy. Overall I’m impressed.

    Living in Southern California, if you live in a beach community chances are you don’t have A/C. One window in out home was too bright & the heat rising to three second floor doesn’t help. So I thought I’d give this product a try. Let me just tell you what a BIG difference it’s made. I’ve added a pic so you could see the difference. One side of the window has the film, the other didn’t yet. I am so happy with this product! We didn’t use soapy water, just water in a spray bottle and the whole process takes a couple of minutes at best. I used a normal window squeegee to sooth it out. I did find it was helpful to have a wad of paper towels to help smooth the film out.

    I bought this after a stay at an Airbnb where they had this exact film covering the windows which was great since the house was located in their backyard. It offered a nice sense of privacy and I honestly didn't even notice it until about day 2 of our stay. Looking from the inside out, this changes nothing, everything is clear and the sun shines through just fine. Looking from the outside in, it definitely looks like a distorted mirror in that it's not a perfect reflection, people won't be standing there staring at themselves which is odd itself, but you can't see inside super clearly. I didn't go up and peer inside like a creeper but walking up you can't see. Looking across a yard, you can't see in. I plan to put this on any windows where neighbors can look in. This product is such a perfect idea.
