My daughter was 8 months, now 10 months, and she obviously is at a stage she puts things in her mouth.. the stackable set has a few smaller pieces that could be very hazardous to a small child/baby. She was able to put the ball and top disc fully In her mouth - seperately but still dangerous. Other than that the set is great for its price

My Grandson loves his music time with his musical instrument kit. The only thing I don’t like is that the carrying case that comes with the kit is not big enough to easily fit the instruments back into for storage. I was able to fit them back in but, not able to zip it. I don’t have half an hour to figure out how to get them back in the case.

Not for small children. The xylophone sticks are wooden dowels with a ball on the one end. If a child falls carrying one of them, it could cause very serious injury. Same with the stacking rings. The stacker is a small wooden dowel. The tambourine and maracas are the only thing that gives this the two stars. Use this set only with VERY close supervision!

Most of the instruments were exactly what I was expecting. But the tambourine is made of a wood that’s already splintering and the wooden stacker is thin and seems dangerous for kids under prob 2-3(what ever age you could explain to be careful with it) def not for my daughter but will keep until she’s older. She loves the bell bracelet things and the Maracas

This is cute but I really don't believe it's a very good value. I only took a few items out of the zip pouch it came in because I bought this to give as a gift and things are wedged so tightly, I didn't think I would be able to get it all back in. Don't buy it just because it has a storage case because a child would never be able to put everything back in the pouch.

These products are not durable and are too small for the age recommendation listed. The stacking portion has small pieces that my daughter can easily fit in her mouth. The little piece came off on the clicker as you can see in the picture. The sticks used on the xylophone are so small and a definite choking hazard. The xylophone itself is sharp. I do not recommend this product.

They are great for the price; however, the recommend age listed is 3 months, the photos show a very young baby as well. The real recommend age as the warnings say on this and the packaging is 3 years due to small parts, the stacking toy is too small for a baby but the instruments are great WITH DIRECT SUPERVISION , as the bells can fit in a babies mouth and are actual metal which could hurt a teether

When I first opened these, I was disappointed because they look handmade. You can see the glue between the keys and wood on the xylophone. Also, the wood on the xylophone isn't sanded down to be smooth around the edges, so i'm afraid my son will scratch himself. However, the quality and the sound of each piece is great! The tambourine and bells are loud, the maracas are well created, and the xylophone is a great size for my 7-month-old! Overall I'm happy with the product, even though they *look* like something an artistic neighbor could've made.

I didn’t listen to the bad reviews but they were right. It is a choking Hazard because the wood isn’t polished …. It can leave splinters and knowing toddlers chew on stuff and put stuff in their mouth is why it’s a choking hazard. they are smaller than expected but maybe I missed that in the description . Not recommended for kids under 4 or 5. My son is 1. Everything went straight in his mouth and he hit the xylophone a few times. For kids who know better and are able to understand a toy better than just hand to mouth right away. But it’s cute.

This is for an older infant. The problem with that is the pieces are definitely smaller than you'd think. I didn't think before I bought it but the xylophone sticks are definitely a choking hazard if your little one likes to explore with their mouth so be careful. The maracas are great also a little small so becauseful as your little one gets a little bigger and start to actually teeth. I honestly do not recommend giving the sizing circle toy to your baby ever just because the small to smallest pieces are pretty small. The instruments that are good are great just a couple of maybes.
