This makes perfect crinkle-cut pickle slices. My only complaint is not really a complaint about the knife, but about the way I tend to hold it. I'm used to a chef's knife, where my hand is grasping part of the top of the blade as well as the handle. With this crinkly knife, that isn't especially comfortable to do. But it doesn't matter. I'd buy this knife again if I ever had to.

Tested it on potatoes and I was able to make a pile of thick crinkle fires in barely any time at all. Works very well for other vegetables, too, like carrots, cucumbers, and yams. This cleans off easily, too. A nice little addition if you ant to have a more stylish presentation to your vegetables.

Just received this item today, and I plan on having loads of fun chopping veggies for Christmas dinner with this!! It is very light, which is a plus, but it's very sturdy construction. I love the fact that it's stainless steel, so I never have to worry about this developing rust at any time. This is something that I can let the grand kids use and not worry about them cutting their fingers like I would with knives. Yes, I ran the edge over my fingers and the back of my hand to make sure it won't cut them before I turn them loose with it. I think they will have a blast with this, and because it's fun it will make them want to eat veggies that they cut with this :-)
