This is a very well made, quality product. The materials are sturdy, yet comfortable. The belt portion is highly adjustable. It also has a water bottle holder, pouch for your phone with a hole for your headphone wires if needed, cash etc. Also an additional pouch for poop bags, treats, whatever else you feel like bringing with you. The leash itself is somewhat stretchy and has two padded hand loops if you need them. There are rings in various places around the belt so you can change the position of the leash, or even add others. It really is very nice in every way. I think I will save it for long hikes, because I feel ridiculous wearing it around my neighborhood. I could see how it would come in handy though. Also make sure your pup isn't a puller before trying this!

This is a great leash and is the perfect solution to a problem I've had walking my dog. She is a medium/large size husky and she's pretty strong. She has a bad habit of diving off the trail without warning if she hears a mouse in the grass beside the trail. After several jolts to my arm I wound up with a torn rotator cuff, which is very painful and takes months to heal. This belt leash solves the problem. The bungee-like flexibility of the leash gives me time to react when she lunges- I don't get jolted to the side and I can grab the leash with both hands. Having it hooked to my waist in addition to holding it with both hands helps me match her strength and resist being pulled off balance. I don't know if this would work for a very petite person with a very large dog, I think it would depend on the dog and its habits. This works extremely well for me, it practically eliminates the possibility of injuring my shoulder again and I'm really glad I saw this on Amazon. I highly recommend it!

I don't think I'll ever go back to a regular leash after using this. Its convenient, hands-free functionality allows me to actually get on work calls and respond to emails while walking my dog. I can fit my personal and work phone in the larger pocket, as well as treats and poopy bags in the smaller pocket. There is also an extra metal ring to hook a doggie water bottle if needed, or add another leash for a second dog (I only have one, so would not know how it is). There are times where I still have to tug on the leash to stop my dog from picking up things from the ground, but the leash is easy to manage, and attached pretty sturdy. As far as comfort, I can barely even feel weight around my waist when I have this on. Of course that would change if I decide to hook on a water bottle or retractable bowl, but overall it is super comfortable.

I like this pack really well for walking my dogs I did have to make my own adjustments to be able to put a second leash on it but it works really well it is very sturdy I do like the pouches it does have a good water bottle holder so I've now been able to go from having two or three different things around my waist to walk dogs to essentially have a one thing around my way so so far so good it's holding up really well probably better than most other products I've tried. Just wish that they actually sold it with two bushes instead of one it would make it a little bit easier than what I had to do

I have a smaller dog so I will definitely get a different leash to use with this as he's just too tiny and when he's close to me, this droops and it a bit too heavy for him. I kind of suspect that when I ordered it but didn't realize the leash would be that heavy. But that's fine and I'll just give the leash part to a friend who has a large dog and get a lighter leash to use with my dog. And since the pack on this is pretty thick and bulky, I will mostly use this for days when we are going on long walks or hikes as it's a bit much for basic daily walks. But it's perfect for a short hike because there are so many pockets and even a place to hold a small water bottle. It does feel a bit bulky around my waist so it would probably be more comfortable on someone with a longer torso who is taller -- definitely not for short or petite people. But I've only tried it out on a short walk so I'll definitely give it a try on a hike before the weather gets bad.Very nice product and very well made. Just know that it's better for taller/bigger people and bigger dogs.
