So I've been trying to perfect a homemade cheese. Every Thanksgiving my boyfriend's family requests it, his dad even wanted it for his birthday dinner. I was shredding a few pounds of cheese with a normal hand grater. I deal with chronic pain and doing that would flare up my bodily pain so bad and I also ALWAYS cut myself. Not with this. I will treasure this my whole life. I hope someday they make a taller pink one. It'll shred a 1 pound block of cheese in what feels like seconds. It can also be used for so many other things. You can slice potatoes with it to make homemade potato chips. This is a must have for every kitchen. Unless you use bagged cheese, I do to but when I make something homemade for a get together it has to be freshly grated cheese. It really improves any dish you're making.

I got this to grate potatoes for hash browns because I was tired of scraping my knuckles on the old school manual grater. I've used it several times now and so far so good. It's easy to assemble and easy to clean. The suction cup adheres well to the counter and it takes up very little space. I have used both the small and large graters. If I had a gripe, it would only be that there are leftover pieces that won't grate, just stick to the grater, both the small and large one. The included picture shows what wouldn't grate, that's from one medium potato using the small grater. Overall I'm happy with this gadget.

Caution: when grating soft cheeses make sure you clear the inside. The cheese tends to build up and gets impacted. It's hard to get out once that happens. Other than that I have not had any issues. It's easy to assemble and use and it is easy to disassemble to clean. Highly recommend!
