I was using the magnetic mesh and it's worked for a long time but I wanted something better. I needed to rescreen my patio door so I decided to try this for my dogs. I figured after years of them going as they pleased, not having a little door would make them just bust right through the screen door. So happy I got this. It was super easy to install. I like the magnetic closure. That way the bugs stay out and it's easy enough for them to go in and out. So far it's holding up well and it's great for the pups.

I am so extremely happy that I found this product and took a chance on it. It is holding up really well, even with my 60 pound Aussie zipping and flying through at top speed. She loves it. It's really a great product and so easy to install.So many products look like they will be a solution, but then fail to live up to the description. Happy to say that this doggie door works exactly as advertised!Definitely take the time to measure to buy the right size and place it in the right spot on your screen.

We installed this a couple weeks ago for our 4 month old corgi puppies. They were afraid of it for awhile, but with encouragement they have discovered the joys of a doggy door. They now come barreling through it like tiny tornadoes and it's holding up well! No issues with it not being strong enough to withstand them coming in and out all day. It was a two person job to install but overall not bad. So far we are super happy with this door, I was worried it wouldn't hold up. Glad I made the choice to purchase this door!

My 55lb pitbull had made her own doggy door in the old patio screen door. Bees, flies and what not were getting in. I wanted to install a new screen but needed something for the dog. This was the perfect solution! It it now click together as easy as they make it seem. But I just used the screws in the corner to secure it and clicked it together the best I could. In the end it came together great.

The door was fairly easy to install - I did it by myself. When I replace the screen door because of damage done previously, I will raise in from the base about 3 inches - my 70 lb. husky mix just barely fits, and I think it would be better a bit higher for his legs. He is not yet 2 years old, so I have to watch him because he wants to take the flapping part out to play with....he's thinking it's a fun toy, but we're working on making better choices that make mom happier. My dog is not aggressive as he wiggles through the door, and is slight, but he's about as big as the door would accommodate - I would buy the next size larger it there were one available.

My 6 year old lab/retriever mix took some time to adjust to it. I think he was just used to us opening the screen door for him. We encouraged with treats and sometimes encouraged him verbally. I can say after a few weeks, he is coming in and out as it pleases. The magnet on the door works well to close it tight after he uses it.I made a mistake installing it (my mistake). Even though I thought I checked twice, I put it on the wrong corner. Meaning when I went to reinstall the screen door, it ended up on the top right corner (doubt he could jump that high!!!!) So, I ended up having to install new screen and doing it again. Very frustrating but totally my mistake.When cutting excess screen after installing the door, I suggest a new blade in the utility knife. Especially if you are like me and have pet screen on the door, which is thicker. With pet screen, the bolt and nuts are a little tight. But, with the help of my wife, we got them to screw in and they secured well.Anyway, this works as advertised. Highly recommend.

Our 40lb dog loves the accessibility of the doggy door, as do we! It's easy to I stall and train.My 11lb dog wants nothing to do with the door, she's too old.

I have a full size 80 lbs lab. I didn't think it would fit him but it works beautifully. He loves being able to go in and out himself. Easy to install as well.

I got this for my standard poodle and small dog and both have adjusted well to it. The installation was extremely simple and took less than 45 minutes. It feels sturdy and I think it will hold up well, but the locking feature doesn't hold up to my giant poodle. This is minor to me since the price was good and I didn't have to buy a whole new screen door.

My dog loves it. Did not feel just hanging it on the screen would have our screen lasting very long. Bought a mesh screen to attach to our door. Cut a hole in and in the door screen and the mesh screen attached the dog door to both the mesh and the screen and now I'm sure our dog won't rip the screen out of the door anymore when she sees a squirrel outside.
