It says there is a protective gasket for the battery case but I don't see any so not sure if water could get into the battery case and cause damage. So I glued clear tape to the gap around the top of the battery box.

This is very interesting though, I will keep it and hopefully be careful not to let water get into unprotected spaces, it will work for many years. Not sure if it's for 3 year olds as they would be more careless with water. So be sure not to plug the plug into the sink and leave the faucet on it to overflow. LAUGH
