Once the microwave is started the time ticks down to 0 and when it finishes it beeps like a real microwave. The tray inside rotates as it's cooking and lights up inside. It's very realistic, works well and very sturdy. The food that comes with it velcroes together and you can use the knife to cut it. Very cute toy and my son loved it. I would definitely purchase one of their products again

The material, sizes of the veggies and pots are not a choking hazard and very well made. My daughter loves it very much. She is most entertained on the veggies, burger and fruits because you can cut them in half. They have velcro in it and she's having fun cutting them into pieces. The microwave is also awesome as it has light on it and she is very well entertained w/ the sounds it make and how it works.

That oven is a bit more realistic and the start/stop button must be pushed to open its door. This microwave is perfect for her little hands. It works and lights up as it should and the door can easily be opened at any time by pulling on the handle, so she doesn't need any help to play with it. She LOVES it! The other toys that come with it are very nice and my 4 year old grandsons especially like the hamburger that stays together when assembled because of the Velcro.
