This is probably the 6th fountain I have purchased for my cats. While it is the loudest of them because of the waterfall feature, it is the best. One of my cats has a habit of knocking over all of the fountains I have purchased. I was worried about this one because it didn't seem to be as heavy. However, to my great surprise, she hasn't tried it with this because she just drinks from it. I think this fountain is attractive to my cats because it mimics turning on the sink faucet, which they love. I love it because it's easy to maintain and doesn't get as dirty as other fountains.

This fountain is quieter than others I have had. It is also clear, which makes it easy to know when the water level is low. I also appreciate the number of parts is few and there are no 90 degree angles that are hard to clean. Only concern is that I originally thought the clear plastic tube on the fountain motor tip is supposed to be kept - I thought it was part of the packaging and removed it and threw it away. The flow wasn't good, until I retrieved and cleaned the little tube and placed it back - then all worked great!

This is a great product at a great price. I have two cats, and one always wanted water from a faucet. So searched for a cat fountain, thinking it would simulate a faucet, and boom. Lots of choices. Chose this over the many others because it was somewhat experimental, as I was not sure my cats would like it and didn't want to pay too much. They love it. The filter, is borderline worthless, but it's all good, I fill it with filtered water. The filter is comparable to a cheap sponge, but at least works to catch hair for example between refills once a week. I highly recommend it, there are much more expensive more impressive looking choices, but I know my cats wouldn't be impressed. They just love this fountain.

I bought this because I had a cat that would flip and spill every water dish I tried to use. Also to help keep water fresh and drinkable longer than using a water dish. Super easy to assemble. At first it seems like it is loud and will be distracting but it has a sensor that the faucet shuts off and only comes on when you go near it, and even then you adjust to that sound and barely notice it. It looks cool too. One cat took to it right away and was intrigued by it and played around in it for quite a bit, but that wore off and is still able to tip it. Does that about every 3rd night while are sleeping. The other cat was afraid of it at first but eventually starting using it. Overall, this is a great product but your cat will still be able to tip it if they want to.

My cat acclimated to it immediately and it is so nice not to have him sitting on the counter meowing for the water to be turned on. (He has a bowel but we, unfortunately, spoiled him by letting him drink from the faucet). Change the water daily and clean the motor and hopefully this will last a long time. The instructions show cleaning the motor with a brush but one was not included. The what's in the box picture does not show one so I guess you need to supply your own.
