I wanted a body camera to use when I walk my dog in public parks and other busy areas. I live in a fairly large city and there's always crazy stuff going on. The fact that I can use this at night makes it even better. The IR illumination was not even a feature I sought out, but I am really happy with how good the image quality is even in extremely low light. One reservation I had before buying was the fact that it does not support additional storage, which is why I chose the 128GB version. As soon as I received the item and felt the build quality, I began to understand why there is no card slot: this thing is absolutely built like a tank. It is completely waterproof and has nice thick rubber bumpers around the edges. If they had included expandable storage, it definitely would have sacrificed the watertight seal. I wasn't super concerned about durability, but it's great to know that I can toss it in my bag when I need to and not worry about it.

I was being falsely accused of various things prior to me using this device. Not only from Amazon customers, but the Amazon warehouse employees as well. This has solved that problem 100%. Now I have video evidence if further assaulted, harassed, or accused. It's pretty sad when I have to use a body camera to do my job for protection, but this device is wonderful, and I'm under a lot less stress now because of it. I occasionally use it when I go out to jog for personal protection as well.

This was an awesome product. First time I have ever had to return a product because it was too good. Features and build were clearly meant for actual law enforcement field work, and not a civilian. I couldn’t walk around with this heavy thing hanging from my t-shirt collar, since it was designed to be worn on an equipment vest. So I’m trying a thinner type. Other than that all the features and quality were right on. UI was also meant for supervisors to be able to retrieve and delete only from a computer and lots of options for code access to the menu.

There are many good features with this body camera. First of all it has a large memory storage capacity. 128 gigabytes can store a lot of video and pictures. Most body cameras are only 32 or 64 gigabyte. I like that the memory is built in so I don’t have to mess with SD cards I can upload the footage right to my computer with a USB. I like having a docking station to charge the camera when I’m done using it.

The video is excellent and the sound is clear. Easy to use although directions aren't real clear. I mainly use the one button video record option. I would turn the camera on at 11:30 PM. (Make sure to have the night vision lights off until you need them. Otherwise, the battery only lasts 3 hours.) I could never get the camera to start recording by pressing the button once like the instructions said. I finally figured out that if the viewing screen was not active you have to press the button TWICE quickly. Once to activate the camera and once to start the recording. Then starts recording immediately. I set mine to add the minute of video that was before I pressed the start button. That way if something happens and it takes you a few seconds to remember to start recording you still got the incident on camera. Great feature. To stop the recoding again press the button twice (if the screen is off.)
