This iron bar is great. It is so much easier to use all over your head, and the timer is amazing. It comes with a glove so you don't burn your hand/fingers. I have read people talking about a high pitched noise coming from it and I guess I can see what they mean sometimes, but I really had to listen for it to even know what they were talking about.

I went with this one because I thought it would be kinder to my hair than the traditional metal heated curling devices. The beauty of this device is that you are not limited to how much hair you choose to curl at one time. I can make the curls as tight or as loose as I choose. My curles were soft and shiny. One thing I highly recommend is to use the glove that comes with this device. Wrapping your hair around this device can cause use to accidentally touch the barrel, causing you to burn your finger. Wear the glove.

I was very skeptical at first but with not having much luck with the iron or curling wands etc and knowing I could return it if it didn't produce the result I wanted, I bought it. I've had naturally curly hair my entire life and pretty much wore it natural but decided I wanted to do something different. I had no experience with irons or wands and outside of a flat iron to wear it straight i was unsuccessful at achieving a curl or wave with these tools. I'm not sure if it's the design or something else, but this tool is amazing . I was able to get the soft wave or curl thst I've been only able to get from my hair dresser when I go in for service, not as good, but good enough for me. If this sounds like you try this tool, obviously we are all different but if this worked for someone like me , who is clumsy at best when it comes to styling hair with these tools, it should work for anyone that fits into that category.

The angle of this makes it so much easier than a regular wand. I typically curl my hair away from my face, not towards it, and this allows me to do both sides easily without being clumsy and allows me to keep the curls even on both sides.
