I've had the speaker for about 3 weeks now. Trying it out with everything from Classical to Blues to Thrash Metal to spoken word (podcasts). It has yet to come up short with anything I push through it. It is a little heavy on the bass, but not enough for me to be critical of it (this is kind of a personal taste issue). But most of what I've been trying out has been through the Spotify mobile app which has an equalizer - a small adjustment to lower the bass and it is perfect.

I use this speaker mostly around the house listening to audiobooks and I appreciate its clear reproduction of the human voice. It is capable of very high volume, but I appreciate its clarity at low volumes. It has a very strong battery; I'm sure Bose is not exaggerating when they claim a 14 hour battery life. The only nit I have with Bose is that the Soundwave tells you the remaining battery life when you turn it on; it should tell you the remaining battery life when you turn it off, so you'll know if it needs charging before you use it the next time.
