It also has a feature where you can lock leash in place at anywhere from about 3ft to 9 feet. I use it with 2 mini aussies 35 and 45 pounds. This leash does have an automatic stop, meaning if your pet tries to run away quickly it will stop them automatically, and it's pretty reliable.
