It's so much easier to pop the nipple in his mouth and let him hold it vs. Driving and holding a bottle. I also use it when we're getting ready to go somewhere and don't have time to stop and hold a bottle. I wouldn't recommend using it too often & cheating your child out of those special bonding moments with you but if your a busy new mom like me it definitely helps! And it works on other bottles

We mostly used these while babywearing in the store, but I have also used them at doctors appointments for my older kids to feed the baby. They're great for babies who can't hold their own bottles yet! This way the baby can still drink their bottle without anyone having to hold it. Even at home when i'm needing to help one of the other kids, this allows me to get some other things done. Absolutely a lifesaver. I just wish it was easier to clean. The straws in particular...I usually have to let them soak in soapy water then I throw them in my medela steam cleaning bags for the microwave. If I needed to put together a gift basket for a new mom, this would be definitely in it!

This is a good system. I haven't had any problems with leaking, but I would agree that it requires more effort to clean and it is more difficult to read the numbers. I use a breast pump steamer bag to help clean the tubes on this along with the thin brush that you can buy. I have twins and find that this is great when both want to be fed at the same time. I give one of them this and the other one I feed by hand. They are 7 weeks old and able to suck the formula out of the bottle using this system. It is also useful when I driving and they get hungry. They do let it fall out of their mouths sometimes, so I also keep the baby that is using it close, that way I can put it back in their mouth. I would recommend this product to parents of twins and parents that wish to feed there baby in the car.

This product works great for my son, he is 15 months but doesn't like any sipply cups. Ive been looking for a straw type bottle to help him transition better and this is perfect. He doesnt like the juice very much but it still works. If he throws it or turns it upside down it doesn't leak very easily. So far it hasn't leaked at all. It does take a bit of sucking to get from the tube to the nipple so keep that in mind if you have a younger baby.

We tried these at 6 weeks and our baby could use these. Now he is a great eater and has good suction. It will stay in like a pacifier, at his age we did have to put the nipple back in his mouth a few times but as he gets older he can definitely do it in his own! It doesn't take much suction get the milk to the nipple but it does take a few tries to get all the way through the tubing. But once it is in the nipple it stays there so there is instant gratification and it encourages them to keep sucking. We love this bottle and so does my baby.
