I've never had one before but even I can easily get this going. I do have a few questions I need to ask or look up but that's not going to be a problem. This little machine packs a nice big punch with all of the capabilities it has! As I said earlier, I bought it with the intentions of using it for artwork, but after seeing everything else you can do with it I'm guessing it will be busier here than I thought! Now we plan to have outside movie nights with the grandchildren as well as using it for holiday decorating!! If I contact the company with my questions, I'll let you know how that goes and after using it in a week or so for a project, I'll come back and update my review!

I've been looking for a projector for way too long and got this here bad boy for Black Friday. Propped it up on a bendy tripod from Best Buy, plugged my Roku into it, and strung up a white bedsheet in the corner and boom. I now have the biggest TV in the house. This thing is ridiculously cool. It has a built in speaker, it's not super loud, but if it's just me and I'm not trying to show off, that's perfectly fine. BUT it also has a little aux port so I can plug in some speakers I just have in my room. The speakers sit left/right of the sole chair in this room and the comfy little tiny surround sound and big screen experience is great. I haven't gotten around to plugging the PlayStation into it yet, but I will one of these days. My only complaint is that the sheet I have set up has a couple wrinkly spots but that's on me lol I could iron it. No complaints. I've already told like 7 of my friends to buy one haha

This worked perfectly for our family movie night. We projected it onto our vaulted ceiling without a special screen or anything. We sate it and the laptop on a tv tray. The first two pictures are taken with our very bright LED Christmas tree, another smaller Christmas tree, a dozen candles, a Himalayan salt lamp, LED up-lighting in dining room and kitchen (one big open space) and the overhead stove light on. Even with all that low light ambient lighting, the picture showed up great. The last picture is just with the candles and a Himalayan salt lamp on. The speaker is fine but I might try to find a better option for an improved listening experience. I did TONS of research... watching YouTube, reading reviews on here and several blogs comparing different models...and finally chose this projector. You can't really go wrong with the price and a one year warranty, in my opinion. We are VERY happy with this purchase overall.

We bought this for my son's birthday party to use during the sleepover for a MarioKart marathon. It works perfectly with a Nintendo Switch! The picture is clear and bright and the sound is pretty good for such a small unit. I will definitely be hooking up speakers when we use it with a larger group, but that shouldn't be any trouble. Great product for its price point. I mounted it to my bedroom wall above my headboard and project on the painted tan wall for entertainment. It's connected to my Apple TV so I can airplay from my phone or Mac laptop in addition to the regular apps. It's nice that it comes with sound although it's not high fidelity, but good enough to watch Netflix. (You can also connect your speaker for better sound which I haven't tried).

It doesn't cover a two window for my living room but I learn you can use other material such as a White Frosted shower curtain works just as good that cost about $2. The photo I posted was just me simply setting it on my dresser and projecting against my bedroom wall in the middle of the day with lots of light still in the room. Color is plenty sufficient for what I expect from the price. I plan to take camping with me so I won't be mounting it anywhere, but the only thing I wish they would offer as an addition is a carrying case :) I will be buying another one as well. Easy for someone who isn't good with tech to use.
