I wish we had found this foot rest sooner...11 years sooner! This would have relieved so much road trip stress if we had had this with our first two sons! We could not make it 30 minutes down the road without my daughter complaining that her neck hurt, she wasn't comfortable, and the tears! We purchased this for a recent trip and the only complaint we heard was that she was cold! She is now comfortable when we travel thanks to this foot rest!

We love this footrest. We have the prior model which has been used by our now 5 year old for the past 2 years and it's holding up well (except the little clips that are used to hold the poles in place). But we like this one even better because it now has a support beam from the footrest to the floor and the clips are no longer needed in the new design.Both of our kids (ages almost 3 and 5) are more comfortable using the footrest and no longer complain of foot pain when riding in the car forward facing. We finally realized the pain our son was complaining of was being caused by poor circulation to his dangling feet. Problem solved with the footrest! It also helps (not solves) keep him from putting his feet on the back our seat. We love that it is fully adjustable and has grown with him over the years. Well worth the cost.

Our son has spina bifida so he already has poor circulation in his feet. We went on a road trip for 4 hours a day after getting this and it worked perfect. Even though he's tall for being 6 we had to bring the foot plate almost all the way to the top but it was perfect fit. His shoes sad perfectly on it. Enough that we didn't even worry about his feet dangling for hours which they didn't because of this. Very easy to assemble, i did notice if you have the foot plate all the way down the adjuster bar that it is a little flimsy but for us it had to be all the way up. Which was rock solid, no movement. Doesn't even shake or rattle when i drive without him in the chair.
