This possibly saved my life, or at least my brain. I was biking when a car made an illegal U-turn on a residential street and hit my bike, which turned the handlebar into my clavicle, fracturing it (got surgery to put a metal plate in). I recall flying off the bike and hearing a loud thwack as my head hit the street. Without the helmet, I would have been very screwed. I can barely tell the damage from the crash (not sure if any damage is from the crash or just regular wear-and-tear), but since I won't wear a helmet that I was wearing in an accident and that hit the ground loudly, I am replacing it. I'm probably going to buy this same helmet again as soon as the driver's auto insurance company says that they'll cover the cost of a new helmet. In terms of fit, it fit very well, and I had no other problems with it.

Riding down a hill, that he isn’t supposed to ride on, he lost control at ~30 mph and landed on the side of his head, on the asphalt. He was knocked out momentarily, but passed the concussion screening at the ER. He is fine, other than some road rash. I hate to think how he might have fared with his old helmet, or no helmet. The ER doctor said that the spot he hit was about the worst place to hit for head injuries.

When I first came to US, I don't understand why everybody is wearing a helmet when riding their bikes. Now I know. I was riding downhill and was really close to a car in front of me. I thought it will just drive straight away, so I didn't slow down. But I was wrong. It stopped suddenly and tried to pull over. My bike hit the back of the car and broke. My head hit the back window. All I remembered was the scatter of glass flew all over me. Everybody on the street came and asked me if I am ok. Surprisingly, I wasn't injured at all. Now I feel a little bit of pain on my shoulder but I don't think it is a big deal. I couldn't imagine what could happen if I was not wearing a helmet.

I recently began riding again and was super concerned about head injury since it had been at least a decade since the last time I had been on a bike (and oh boy, could you tell since I fell twice and nearly got hit by a car on my first 'test drive'). Since people have been texting and driving and sometimes I like to go off road, I thought it may be time to protect myself. I have never fallen, so I don't know if it actually works. I bought it based off the reviews of it actually working for some who have had accidents. I was doing physical therapy for my hand and I brought it in and my therapist approved. She said you always want to make sure it is a helmet that has been side tested as well as front and back. For some reason there are a lot of helmets that only get tested front to back. I have tried it out. It is very light weight and adjustable. I almost forget it is there when riding. It also blocks the sun! Never thought of that until it happened. Lastly, it is stylish.

We tried a handful on at the different stores and discovered he needed a big helmet for the roundness of his head. He fits on the smaller setting and his head measure 51.5 cm. I really like the click adjustment to fit snuggly around his head. I can see him wearing this for a few years. I looked at another brand but the helmet was not as quality as this brand. Overall very happy about this product and my son looks so cute in it! Looking forward to seeing him ride his new bike for his birthday!
