    This is one of the most useful additions that I have bought for my espresso machine. It is well made, inexpensive, and extremely useful. Before purchasing this, I would have to stand at my machine for the full grind cycle and shake the portafilter to keep from the grinds piling up and spilling everywhere. Not to mention that I would sometimes have to adjust my grind amount strictly based on how much I would lose during the grinding and tamping process. Now, all I do is attach this and start the grinding while I walk away. I am able to lightly tap the sides to make sure the grinds are level before I tamp, which I do while the funnel is still attached. 20/10 would recommend!

    This is the second time I have purchased this product. The first one I had for a year and it worked fine but then it got put through the dishwasher on hot and the plastic must have shrunk just enough that it was too tight getting on and off after that. I ordered a replacement and was pleased to find the price is half of what it was a year ago. The replacement came today and the product is smoother and nicer now then it was when I ordered before. Still works just as well. Highly recommend. Saves a lot of coffee and mess. A few friends have ordered other versions of this for their breville and they all agree this one is best. Maybe don't put it in the dishwasher though. (Old one on left new one on right)

    It felt like I was wasting a lot of grinds before buying this. I thought my breville was grinding too many beans and I'd when up with a mess when tamping it down. I used to lay down a paper towel to catch all the grinds. This makes it so there's very little spillage or cleanup. The only thing I've noticed is that sometimes it doesn't activate the grinder as easily on the machine as it does when it's just the portafilter by itself.

    I bought this to simplify my espresso routine and this does exactly that. The extra height it provides allows me space to fully dose a double shot. The only issue I have is that the grounds can accumulate around the edges,but with a little nudging they fall right in and are ready for packing. I never should have waited this long to add this useful tool. It is plastic, but that is fine it doesn't need to be metal since you won't apply any real pressure to it anyway.

I also like the fact that the opening for the portafilter is open downwards, so that if you get a little wet, only the worktop can be cleaned. The recess for my 58.4 mm tamper fits perfectly. I do not need the included elevation and the rubber feet ensure that the station does not wobble. I am very satisfied and can only really recommend this to everyone. Before buying, I checked the dimensions to see if the tamper station was right for me.

    After more than 15 years without a tamper station, I recently spontaneously decided to order this part. And I'm thrilled. Surely you can get through life without it, but I'm glad to have bought this tamper station. It makes tamping a lot easier. Fortunately, the station fits perfectly to the portafilter of my ECM Classika machine. And the part looks visually really beautiful and valuable. The price could be discussed for sure, but portafilter machines and accessories seem to be generally overpriced as a luxury product. You just have to take that. Hence a point deduction in terms of price/performance ratio, but this does not change my recommendation. If the product would be repurchased.
