I was puzzled and the bites kept coming. I set this up and I didn't see any bugs looking like they were attracted to it, but the bites tapered off and then stopped. I wasn't sure if this was because the weather was changing or if this thing was trapping the bugs. Finally after more than two weeks I decided to look inside and I found about 20 of the little bugs dead inside it! So, I'm giving the credit to this device for stopping the miserable itchy bites! I would recommend this product!

You must also make sure that you have twisted the top half of the unit to uncover the entry slots. To turn off the unit, close the entry slot cover and then unplug the unit. If the cover is open when the fan goes off, the bitey beasts are free to fly out. I trimmed a piece of sticky mosquito paper to fit in the botton of the unit and once a mosquito is sucked into the unit by the fan and hits the paper, he is done moving.Within an hour there was one large mosquito stuck on the bottom paper. When I went to bed, I raised it to the top of seat back and left it in a darkened room overnight.
