I have a stainless steel pancake batter dispenser that just doesn't work for cupcakes. This makes filling the liners for mini cupcakes as well as the standards size cupcakes so much quicker, easier and cleaner. It is to small to mix the batter in but definitely still worth using. Now I bake cupcakes 4 to 5 times a week.

When I prepare pancake mix overnight and leave it in the frigerator, it gets very thick so I let it come to room temperature or add a bit of hot water and stir it inside to loosen it up. Then it comes out of the bottom in an even flow. The white lid allows protection from odors. The only really bad thing is the clean up, but that goes without saying.

    I love using this device for measuring out batter for cupcakes and pancakes. There is only one issue I have found with this product. If you use any kind of fruit IN the batter (meaning stirring the fruit into the batter and pouring the batter into the dispenser), the fruit will sink to the bottom and has a tendency to get "stuck" in the hole where the batter pours out.
