I normally don’t like writing reviews, but I noticed there are no reviews from GSP owners for this product. I just have to say that this is THE best harness I’ve found to work for deep chested dogs like GSPs, Weimaraner’s and Boxers who like to run and pull. Other harnesses fit very awkwardly on my dog and she wasn’t very comfortable on the one we were using before I bought this one. A size large is perfect around the neck and long enough for her body, but she’s a lean 60lb dog, so it doesn’t fit super tight on her midsection. I use this harness to run my dog next to me on my bike, using the Walky Dog bike leash, also purchased here on Amazon. We bike anywhere from 7-14 miles a day and she has never appeared or felt more comfortable before, and it doesn’t appear to be rubbing her raw like previous harnesses did. Will definitely be purchasing again, whenever the time comes. Feels and looks pretty well made, other than the tethering loop, it looks as though it could come unknotted after a while. May consider adding a bungee and/or carabiner for safety with heavier pullers.

I haven't used the muzzle-led harnesses, so I can't compare with those products. But my large breed dogs respond very well to this harness, if you can train yourself to put it on correctly! It takes a bit of practice; you must put the different-colored strap under the belly. My most memorable occasion was with a rescue basset, who did a couple somersaults the first time it was put on, then never pulled on a walk again! I now have one for my 18 month old Great Dane and my 5 month old hyper Lab puppy, and they heel with minimal reminders and love their walks! The science behind it is that if they pull, their front legs begin to press together, so naturally they slow to the owner's pace to feel more balanced. Be sure the under strap is not so tight they can't sit; my Dane struggled with the slight grip it will put on his (admittedly weird) body structure in a sitting position, but the great thing is that once the owner is in control, everyone is safe and can enjoy walking city streets without worrying about traffic and cats, and other dogs, and squirrels and bicycles... highly recommended!

The Easy Walk is really a game-changer. When I had it recommended to me by several frequent dog fosters, I assumed it would set me back at least 4 times the price I found here on Amazon. And to be honest, I was a bit skeptical when I received such a small package. It looks just like a "standard" harness that you'd get for about the same price at a pet store. The one exception is the little cross strap that goes across your pup's chest. It doesn't look like much, but the configuration made an IMMEDIATE improvement for my very hard-pulling Treeing Walker Coonhound. I say in complete seriousness that she went from going in my orbit and pulling this way and that to doing a near-perfect heel, something that she would rarely ever do in the past. Mind you, this isn't a magical cure for leash/walking problems. It just gives you a huge head start on getting the right behavior out of your dog. My pup has a tendency to get herself tangled up in the leash, and it doesn't correct her when she's lagging behind to sniff at something that interests her. That said, she had previously escaped from her top-mount harness, by suddenly pulling backward and slipping her legs out. There is no such escape route with the Easy Walk.

Good well made x back harness, good fit and comfortable for my Siberian husky. recieved on time, used it tonight with my girl she ran and pulled well much better than her last harness. she's happy an fast asleep now. Will recommend an would buy again if needed.

I love this harness, I bought the size medium for my pug, this harness helps so much with her pulling and does not allow her to pull so hard it chokes her. I think I am going to buy one size small because it is slightly to big but it still works and she can’t get out of it.

This is the second pet I’ve purchased this harness for. It’s the best one. If your pet pulls it turns them to you. You’re in control and it’s easy for your pet to learn how to put on. Super quick, secure and durable. The first pup I purchased it for it lasted their whole life- just short it 11 years.

My pup and I are new to this hobby and training to do mushing in the winter. So far I have loved this harness and can tell it isn’t uncomfortable for her. She is loving all the exercise and training that we can do with it. Highly recommend for newbies like me who want something not too expensive but also nice quality!

This is the second Easy walk harness I’ve bought and I love them! They last really well I actually didn’t need to replace mine it was just faded and I wanted to get a nice shiny new one for my spoiled pup. I have a 60-65lb golden retriever and she wears a medium. I also have a 95lb chocolate lab and she wears a large.

Just received mine today for my dogs. Glad I went with the measurements versus the weight! My huskies weigh in at 53ish pounds (blue harness) and he's in an XL and 46 pounds (pink harness) in an L. The measurements were spot on though and it's a great fit. Cant wait to test them on a ride later but they seem very solid!

This harness is a life saver! Our 9 month old lab/pit mix pulls on the leash like crazy. We've tried multiple harnesses and collars. This actually works! I can hold the leash with one hand rather than doubling it around both my hands and holding on for dear life. We now look forward to our walks instead of dreading them.
