    Our dog was very anxious after being the old baby in the house, to us getting another dog when we found out we were expecting to bring a human baby into the mix. After being raise with at least 3 or 4 trips to the dog park and two walks per day to basically nothing for the first year our son was around our lab took it pretty hard and chewed a patch of hair on his back off. We used the thunder shirt as a barrier but I think the "hugging" sensation also helped him too. Happily, after changing up his diet and changing our schedules to prioritize our pup's physical needs he is much better and his coat is full and healthy again!

She didn't shake, convulse, pace uncontrollably or panic. She was as calm as could be and actually slept. When I first received the shirt I laughed because it looked and felt just like a t-shirt, but, it did way more than that. It actually hugged her body perfectly. Anyways, I highly recommend. Especially if you aren't sure if something like this will work for your dog. It's $20 cheaper than the original "thundershirt" and it did what it was supposed to do

    My 10 lb. doxie has a disc dislocated in the middle of his back. He was in so much pain that he kept his tail between his legs and his ears down. If he was lifted he would cry out in pain. His veterinarian (my daughter) said he had to be kenneled for complete rest and she put him on medication. He was hurting so bad that I wanted to do something more and thought about a brace. We decided to use the thunder jacket and purchased this one. He is now exercising by walking the hall, he has his tail out and wagging, even his ears are back up. He will still need acupuncture and physical therapy but at least he feels better while he’s recovering.

    We have a 5 lb Yorkie poo who is as shy and nervous as can be. It has taken her a year to finally come to me with out running the other direction first. Not sure what happened to her during her first 3 months to make her so sensitive. She also gets car sick when we travel, throwing up after a 30 minute ride. I was hoping that the "Wrap" would work it's wonders on Sadie, but she is so afraid of it that when I put it on her she acts like I am punishing her or worse..I think if I left it on her for any length of time she would throw up just from nervousness. The quality of the product is great! And Sadie looks really cute in it, but it doesn't work for us.

He still shivers but it's definitely an Improvement compared to not wearing a wrap for comfort. For some dogs, a wrap is not enough so unless the bad reviews are about quality of the product, ignore those bad reviews and just try this out and see if it works for you(r baby). If it doesn't, return it, and try another method for your Pupper. Don't bash the product because it doesn't help your particular doggo. I did not receive the product for free or discount.

    When I first got the wrap, it didn't help my dog and I wrote a bad review of it. I had planned to return it. I forgot before I went on a trip. I decided to give it another try. When I noticed she was starting to shake, I put it on. Lo and behold it worked. I guess the trick is to put it on when you first hear what upsets your dog or you see the first signs of freaking out. The other two times I used it she was already in full blown panic. Now she lays calmly. I can now recommend this item. I even brought one for my son's dog. I almost bought a Thunder shirt brand because it's what you hear on ads. They cost a lot of $$$. The Mellow shirt is cheaper and just as good ,so save your money.

So far this as been well worth the money. So he is 6 lbs and his chest around is about 14 in. I will add pics hope this helps and I’m his reg jacket he wears a small or xs depending on the maker. So I would say it your dog will probably wear 1-2 size smaller then there normal size jackets.

With July 4th fireworks a couple of days away, I'm glad I ordered this. Like I stated initially, the day this thunder shirt arrived the skies were getting dark so I quickly put it on my dog & the thunder boomers started. She didn't pant or shake, she just went to her doggie bed & laid down. After a 1/2 hour, we were still experiencing thunder boomers, so I checked & she was fast asleep! It's easy to put on & fits snug. It appears to be made with quality materials. We are extremely surprised how well it worked. I recommend any dog owner to give this item a try & hopefully have the same results that we had!
