    I think this is a serviceable beginner magnet for magnet fishing. It's tremendously powerful when it locks on to a ferrous object. I don't think it could lift 260lbs but probably 10-15 would be feasible. So far I've caught a vape battery and a fishing jighead and I'm excited to see what else it will catch. It did develop some rust but I am literally throwing it into a lake to pull out waterlogged iron. Recommend some loctite on the threads. Can't hurt.

The magnet is substantially strong to hold through the bubble wrap style insulation and the plastic sheathing of the greenhouse, onto the steel support structure.
