I'm not exactly sure how it's made; one side is smooth and the other has raised "lead", but it isn't made like traditional stained glass. It looks very similar though, and less breakable. The colors are so vibrant and believable.

The colors are insanely vibrant and deep, when the light shines through this piece just makes you stop and admire it.
