Making no claim here about this item's effectiveness with radon, but it fit the drain cover perfectly. We installed a 90 elbow on the furnace drain pipe, cut a hole in the center of the multi-mat and stuck the drain pipe in. The mat completely covered the drain and could be caulked if we wanted to.
