    Awesome product. I grind my own whole coffee beans using a blender which gets it just right for cold brewing. I fill up the filter so that the grounds are half an inch below the white part of the filter (when looking from outside). I find it's better to slowly pour the water directly into the filter rather than the basin. If you fill the basin first and then dunk the filter in, the grounds will float up. By pouring directly into the filter the grounds get pre-soaked and will stay under the water surface (it also makes measuring the amount of water automatic). My friends and coworkers have been raving about my cold brewing skills...but it's really SUPER EASY! Wish I've done this earlier.

It is plastic but it looks like glass. And honestly I’m glad it’s plastic so I don’t have to worry about breaking it. I almost bought the larger size due to my intake of coffee (and I still might) but so far this one is fairing well. One brew will last me a couple of days when I’m working. I pour I into a hydroflask with my favorite creamer and it stays cold for the midday pick me up. I suppose you could put it in the dishwasher but I hand wash it. I highly recommend this product all around. You need this in your life.

    I love coffee on a level that is borderline addiction. In an effort to curb my caffeine intake, I have started buying expensive delicious Swiss-water-process decaf coffee beans. However, turning those beans into a cold brew has become a mission. I cannot just buy decaf cold brew so I must make it myself. This pitcher makes that not only possible, but easy! Instead of soaking the very coarse grounds for 18 hours then attempting to filter through a coffee filter for eons, this thing has that done for you in no time at all. It makes enough for at least 3 days (I also drink a hot cup in the morning) as the resulting cold brew is a concentrate. BUY IT. The filter is amazing and the whole thing is easy to use.

    Very easy to use and clean. Others have reported leaks but I haven't had any issues with that, just make sure the lid is on tight. I had a difficult time figuring out the right amount of coffee grounds...I've been filling the filter about two-thirds full and that works for me. You have to be careful that the grounds don't float up because if they do, they won't sink down. I wasted a bunch of grounds by not realizing the water had pushed them up so they never got absorbed. I usually get four or five cups of coffee from mine before refilling. The little booklet says the coffee is concentrated and you only need a few ounces to make a cup, but that hasn't been my experience. I'm not a coffee snob though, so maybe I'm just missing something!

    I loved this cold brew pitcher. I have purchased two other brands previously plus this one and this particular one is my favorite. As far as taste, they are all very similar, however, the material used for this one makes it easier to clean and more versatile. It holds a good amount, fits nicely in the fridge because it is shorter, and is plastic to prevent breakage. The other two brands I had were glass and both shattered... not just broke, but shattered into little slivers of glass around my kitchen. This one is also easy and quick to use. I usually make it at night and I am exhausted but it is a quick fill up an twist then in the fridge it goes. I believe I have purchased six total of this pitcher. I own two myself, and the rest are gifts. I have owned the first one now for almost two years and it is still in perfect condition even after all the dishwasher runs it has been through. The filter also is easy to clean/dumping out the coffee grounds. The grounds don't get stuck in little crevasses like other ones I have had.

    It gets the job done and does it well! Made my first batch yesterday morning and poured myself some today... came out exactly how I would of hoped even with cheaper supermarket coffee (wasn't gonna waste my good stuff experimenting)! Couple key points... since the filter is attached to the top, its not the easiest to pour over your grounds in order to properly stir and "bloom" them. If done correctly this refines the flavor and smoothness of your brew. I get that's a hot coffee deal but it does make a difference for cold brew as well. I added 1 cup of course ground coffee, then ran cold water over them into the container and let it sit for 15 minutes... instead of stirring I bobbed the filter in the water and agitated the grounds before adding the next cup. Repeated the process now with a full container and all grounds associated with the recipe. Brew sat refrigerated for 24 hours before serving. Like I said... it came out great, smooth and a nicely refined taste for it being cheaper coffee. I can't wait to try some better beans next!!

It is reasonably priced, easy to use, stays sealed when on its side and makes a good amount for me. I am the only one who drinks coffee in our household, so the large one lasts me about 7-8 days of morning coffee. As I get low, I transfer the coffee to a mason jar so I can run a brew for 48 hours and have a constant supply of coffee.

It’s easy to use, and we just throw it in the dish washer once a week or so. (The truth is the truth, we basically empty it and just make more coffee.)
