They make good size balls that are compacted depending on how big of a scoop you take. There are two molds for making a mini snow man and a penguin that work well too. The brick maker is really cool and easy to use. I wish there were more of them or in different sizes. It was by far the most fought over item from the set. The tools are all sturdy and well made. The set comes with a carry bag that fits them with a bit of room for other stuff. Very fun and well made set.
