My kitty isn’t to happy about it, but the collar does the job. She has cat acne, and this has caused her to get follicle bacterial infection. we needed to put her medication the spots but she kept trying to lick it off. This little toast does the trick to keep her from licking off the medication and pulling out her fur. I suggest making sure you can fit two of your fingers through the neck hole when it is in the pet. Just to make sure it’s not to tight for when they are laying down. Want to be sure it’s is safe on them as far as comfort goes it looks like it’s good, she lays her head down in it and doesn’t seem to be bothered by it much. She’s not use to it of course but it is helping her spots to heal now and kitty isn’t itchy or in pain so that’s a plus. She has a new nickname now. We call her toasty maybe that’s mean but it’s a really cute collar, even if she doesn’t like it.

Comfortable, Functional, AND Adorable, what more could you want? Did I want my poor kitty to require emergency surgery after attempting to consume 10’ of sewing thread? No, no I did not. Was this bread collar the best part of his recovery? Yes, yes it was. In all seriousness, it was far more comfortable for him than the rigid plastic cone he was sent home with- but just as functional- he was not able to reach his wounds on his belly- but he was able to rest more easily and eat and drink more easily- which after abdominal surgery is pretty essential. Really, this collar was the best and I cannot recommend it’s strongly enough. It is the best- and I tried the kitty onesies and other softish collars. The fact that he was adorable and pathetic was the cream on the cake.

Things to note, my cat did successfully bunny kick it off in the beginning because the string used is too smooth for the spring trigger to hold it. I bought some paracord and restrung it (and added a safety pin as extra security) so the trigger doesn't move when she tries to get it off. She hasn't tried though after the first two days so she may have been fully comfortable with it on already. This pillow DID get wet when she drank water (both from her water bowl and water fountain) and if she uses the litter box after, it does stick! Not much can be helped though as I would much prefer this size to stop her from reaching her bandage. She is 3 years old and 9.3lbs if anyone was curious. All in all, very happy with this purchase and would recommend.

We got this giant come from the vet and my cat hated it got this and she can see and jump and I didn't eat with ease takes the stress away from useing a cone she sleeps comfy on it and can scratch her ears which she couldn't do in a cone

This is a perfect substitute for the original E collar! She doesn’t love it but she enjoys it a lot more than the hard plastic cone from the vet! Also she looks so stinking cute!!

FANTASTIC PURCHASE! My six month old kitten, busted his chin/lip while parkouring and playing all over my apartment. He ended up needing 6 stitches, and due to the location of the cut, he’d have to be in a plastic cone of sadness for 10 days until the stitches were removed. By the second night home, this little man had somehow removed the plastic cone of doom, and I knew I needed something fast. After reading positive reviews online , I decided to order this for my furry son. From the second I put it on him, he LOVED it. It’s a built in pillow that doesn’t stop him from eating or drinking, but did stop him from ripping his stitches out and me having another hefty ER vet bill. 10/10. It also doesn’t hurt that he looked absolutely adorable, and gained another nickname “Mr Toast” for 10 days straight. HIGGHly recommend!

We own a special-needs cat sanctuary. This cone is a game changer!! Our kitty Boston had a TECA surgery and laser work on her opposite ear. TECA is removing the entire ear canal. The Toast Neck Cone worked perfectly for her. She could not scratch her ears during the two weeks she was required to wear it but she was capable of doing everything else with ease. The surgeon and staff at the speciality hospital absolutely loved it and even they ordered a few. Our own vet was equally impressed. We purchased several cones to try, even one that was see through but none of those were well received. Cats hate cones and they are easy to get off. Boston didn't mind wearing this cone at all. It's lightweight, adjustable but doesn't prevent them from eating and it's easy to clean (hand wash). Tip: buy more than one! Especially for after surgery care when ointments and such can be messy. Please note that this cone will NOT work for a spay/neuter surgery or similar. Only for head/ear conditions. Highly recommend!!!

On 2/11 my baby girl was taken to get spayed. Knowing how my cat is a bit skittish and anything out of the norm makes her very uneasy, I dreaded the thought of her wearing an uncomfortable cone while trying to recover from surgery. I searched alternatives and found a recovery suit that I wasn't able to use because the vet wouldn't put it on her, and insisted a cone was needed instead. Since the vet (Thrive) I took her to is located inside of petco, I purchased a cone from petco. As I expected, my baby hated the cone, wouldn't eat or drink water and she refused to move from the same spot as she freaked out trying to remove what was around her head. I then attempted to put the suit on but she cried (probably from being in pain or feeling threatened) and I was too scared to continue my attempts so I decided to remove cone while supervising her for hours at a time so she could eat and use the bathroom comfortably. I did leave the cone on at night so that I could sleep. 2/12 (day after surgery) I purchased this item in hopes it would help her in any way possible. After purchase, expected arrival was 2/14. Today is 2/13 and to my surprise, my package arrived. SO HAPPY I purchased this!!! Immediately after I put this on, she started walking normal and drank water for the 1st time in 3 days. No more walking backwards and she is sleeping comfortably and curled. I wish I would have bought this sooner as I wasted money on the original cone and recovery suit, but more importantly could have saved her the extra stress and discomfort. I'll be recommending this to anyone I hear or know needing a recovery cone. THANK YOU!!!!

The toast collar works well. My cat has a rash on his shoulder and ribs and this collar prevents about 90% licking. He can still get to it if he tries, but not often. Be aware that the color may get wet when the cat drinks and may also get dirty when the cat eats wet food. It didn't take him long to tolerate the collar on his neck and he can eat, drink sleep normally. Vet wasn't a big fan of the toast, but it's working so far for us. I am ordering another so that I can have a clean one handy all the time.

So...my baby Sophia just got spayed. I thought I’d be proactive and get the recovery suit...fail! She couldn’t move and wiggled out of it twice. So back to the vet I go to get the dreaded e collar. She hated it so much and it too her spirit right out of her and she just couldn’t get comfortable. I ordered this and as u can see she loves it! She can still lick the “essentials” lol, but can’t get to her wound! I highly recommend for your little fur baby as well! Hope I could help make your babies life easier!
