The Rubik Connected walks you step by step with a series of videos and tutorials and after a few hours my son and I were able to solve without cheat sheets. Within a couple of days of basic play able to solve within 2 minutes. I wanted to practice the last layer so I downloaded an iPhone app Chao Timer and you swipe up with two fingers and it allows you to pick the scramble to state. So you pick last layer and it scrambles to that point so you can practice without having to solve the first 2 layers to get there.
