Thankfully, I don't have to grab it with a bag or put on gloves or anything like that anymore. I just throw a kitchen trash bag in a 5 gallon bucket and walk around the yard with this thing.     Other ones we purchased were thin plastic. This one is heavy thick plastic! The claws in this work WONDERFUL in grass as it seperates the dog poop from the grass VERY WELL. The handle and pull are built very sturdy and seems like this will last forever. Plus, we live in snow area and it has gotten below freezing and this plastic did not crack or chip like other scoopers. Would buy again if this breaks, but I dont think this one will break in a very very long time. Very satisfied!

    This is a good coop. It has the right amount of tension to pick up my dogs bombs with ease. The handle is comfortable and easy and I can use it with one hand. (I think a kid or an elderly may need 2 hands to open it) It's long but you still do have to bend unless your 4 ft tall. The thing about these scoopers is that metal springs rust and eventually break, especially when left out in the weather. But I do plan on leaving this outside because who wants a poopy claw in the house! If I get a year out of this I will be happy. I'll update this when it breaks.

    This is my second one of the same as I was happy with the first. This is a mechanical device that will break eventually and I got 2+ years out of my last one. I'd say that's pretty decent for the price.I'm 6'1" so still have to bend down a bit to pick up the poop so if not using good squatting form can cause a little back strain that could be improved by a longer model otherwise I'm quite pleased with it. I recommending switching hands every so often as I did get some hand cramps when I procrastinated longer than I care to admit and had a LOT of poop to pick up.

    I've ordered my second one and compared to other pooper I like this one the best. I was really rough with the last one I bought over a year ago. It really dug into the snow and scooped out all the yuck. I sometimes would dig in deep into the ice and snow and give it a little kick with my shoe and it would dislodge the poop. Like I said I was rough and tuff with it and it lasted over a year and now I have a brand new one to beat up. It also works awesome in the grass and really grabs everything. I highly recommend this and if you are kinder to the pooper than I am it should last much longer for you.
