I use a cane, and frequently suffer with wrist pain and weakness due to having to lean on the cane. That's why I went looking for this gyro ball, a I knew I needed to strengthen my wrists. I just did not know it would work so quickly! Once I read the instructions, and used it, just for a few minutes, my wrist pain went away! I am AMAZED at this product!!! So, if you need to strengthen your wrists, or have weakness caused by having to use a cane; give this a try.

I love the all metal construction of this gyro ball. I bought it specifically for the all metal and extra weight. I have a plastic one by a different company, and this ball is definitely better all around. It spins smoother and just feels more premium. I keep this spinner in my car and use it during my commute every day. It's definitely very effective at increasing strength in grip, wrist, forearm and biceps. Definitely worth the extra money over plastic models. The only thing I would change is to have the wind-up feature easier to hold while winding, with either some texture or rubber inserts for traction while turning with thumbs (I'm taking about on the gyroscope, part that spins) Would buy again!

Pretty fun to use. Tough to put down. It's like a toy that makes one's forearms stronger. The more one fights it, the more it fights back so you're always getting your best workout, as much or as little as you want. After a few weeks, no pickle jar lid can defeat you.

Just trying to keep my wrists strong. I play video games, I juggle, I sit at the computer and I am always on my phone.....I read up on this before I got it and it was easy to understand. Someone mentioned it is a motion as if you were holding a glass by it's mouth and swirling around ice in a drink.

I've been dealing with pain from tennis elbow for over a year now and nothing has healed it until I started using this product. It has only been five days and I've experienced such great results. After day three, I was able to stop icing my arm and on day five, I noticed that my arm was noticeably stronger. I can actually feel and see the muscle definition surrounding the lateral epicondyle! I will continue to use this on a daily basis. My nephew, who's a rock climber, bought one after trying this and experiencing immediate relief after a long day of climbing. I've also convinced my partner, who's a nurse, to use this after work and he experienced relief as well. I'm so glad I found this!

My doc suggested that I try this to get rid of my "golf elbow" (which is a pain in the arm, like tennis elbow in reverse). It worked! It takes a little bit of practice to get the hang of winding up the internal spring with your thumbs, then wrapping your hand around the ball, then moving the hand and arm to add energy to the spinning gyro. Once you get it, like riding a bike, you won't forget how. The lights and the sound let you know how much energy you are putting into it -- but you will know because your arm will start to ache within less than a minute. It's serious resistance work and great for toning up some arm and hand muscles. Change hands and make sure the second arm is getting the workout, while you rest the first one...

I've been starting this thing the hard way, by running it across my desk to get it spinning. It was taking quite a few attempts to get it going each time. One day I was fiddling with it and I noticed it kept catching occasionally when I was trying to spin it manually. After a little more fiddling, I discovered that there's a spring inside. It seems that if you hold it with the arrows pointing up, and rotate the inside in that direction of the arrows, that winds up the spring. Then when you release, it, it'll start spinning quickly enough that it's easy to get it going. If there was documentation explaining this, I missed it. Anyway, this spring mechanism is far superior to the pull string method used by the older gyro balls I had years ago.

I'm recovering from carpal tunnel release surgery, and picked this up to build back strength. What a workout! I actually set a stopwatch to use it for at least a minute per hand. The LEDs and satisfying sound make it fun.
