Perfectly round, clear and no bubbles/imperfections. The stand is nice since it has an Asian flair. My only warning is because it's so heavy, the package arrived from OnTrac... which isn't always as good as UPS or the usps. I got it as a joke for someone at work who often says, "We don't have a crystal ball." Removing that excuse from him. The crystal is very clear. To the naked eye and to touch, it is perfectly spherical and without defects. The lion faces on the stand are a nice touch.
