This is my third set of Activ Life wheel lights. I had initially purchased them for my own bike and my oldest child's; however, our younger child really wanted them too. He has now been going out to ride his bike every evening, as he is just so proud of his lights. Many neighborhood kids have commented on how cool they look and are wanting to get some. For the older child and me, I purchased the plain blue ones (matching our blue bikes). These aren't obnoxious and do provide a good amount of light when riding at night, making it safer and easier for cars to see us. I purchased the color-changing lights for my youngest child--these rotate through various colors, changing every few seconds.

These are amazing lights! Very easy to put on..when I ordered just assume it wouldn’t be as easy as it was said to be...but follow instructions and it was really easy! Wasn’t sure how the back tire would be do having gears and the rim being bigger...but they provide bands that will accommodate for that!! And both battery casing’s hold in place great don’t move when the bike is being rode!! Like I said I was skeptical at first...how things never look like on packages or advertising...but these are awesome and would recommend 100%!!

You'll want to wrap the wire around every spoke (not every other one like the instructions said), and you definitely want to START near the inflator nozzle on the tube and work all the way around to meet that gap between spokes on the other side so that when you need to fill your tires this light wire is not in the way. Once installed, they're easy to turn on and off and they definitely look neat on a bike and add extra night time safety.
