If you purchased this template for full overlay or 1/2 overlay doors, great, use it as instructed or as seen on a lot of YouTube videos, the hinge and base plate determine the type of door application. If on another project you need to install an inset door, it's simple. Most cabinet doors are 3/4" or 19mm thick, almost identical dimensions, 19mm is a hair smaller. Anyway, to use the template for inset door application, take a small piece of 3/4" material attach it to the template thru the holes on the small flange of the template flush with the outside of the template. Put the outside of the template up against the side of your cabinet box with the added 3/4" material flush with the face of your cabinet. Line up the centerline widow on the template with your pencil center line of baseplate location on the cabinet, mark hole location, punch hole location, screw in your base plate. It's really that easy, my instructions may not be, but if you read my review slowly and try to understand what I'm saying in a long message, you got this.

Although the hinges on recent kitchen cupboards, wardrobes etc all appear to be the same design there are often subtle differences. The original hinges did fit on these plates but the screw holes on the hinges, which are mounted with the self tapping screws supplied, were offset wrt those drilled on the plates so new holes were required. Not a problem if you've got the tools and correct diameter drill but useless if you haven't or can't borrow them. Care needed when handling the plates since the punched edges were very sharp. Looked fine when fitted.

The pictures imply that there are 2 of each and the product description doesn't help as it says the package contains 2 items, which could mean 2 full sets. As most doors have two hinges, it's not unreasonable to believe that the pack will contain 2 full sets. I have ordered another one but I think you should make the description clearer. Thank you!
