I sit at my patio deck and watch the wildlife around me for hours. I will admit, I have a slight (family inherited) tremor and the tripod makes viewing steady and effortless. So when his 70th Birthday was around the corner I thought I would surprise him. He was pretty excited and it fits in his motorcycle bag. However, my son and I also like it. The accessories that came with it are wonderful as well. The tripod is sturdy and easy to mount and the phone attachment, similar to the one for the binocular, is also excellent. I think the tension knobs are a great addition and hold my phone securely. I also appreciate the fact that not only can I keep both the monocular and the phone attachment in the included case, the phone attachment is held in a velcro sleeve that securely stays in place in the monocular case. This leaves the perfect amount of room to hold the monocular. It was a great use of space.

ACTUAL antifog (we live in humid area), wide lenses on both ends, largely universal phone mounting, quick release mounting (in case you suddenly need to use the phone without resetting your mount alignment), expandable tripod legs, rubberized feet, and finally good reviews. This one is on the high end of these phone scopes. I am price conscious, but every single lesser priced scope was missing one of my criteria. I bought this for my wife for Christmas and had to be sure she wouldn't be turned off by a cheap substitute, else she might discard the technology at large. Needless to say, it was an immediate great impression. They even included a scratch off card where we won a free accessory. Wasn't necessary, but so much the better :)
