7 channel selection methods to choose from: Easy Tune (ETM), Automatic Search and Browse Station Frequencies, Automatic Search and Browse Stored Stations, Manual Search Station Frequencies (VF), Manual Search Stored Stations (VM), Direct Input of Frequency Numbers, and Direct Input of Stored Station Address Numbers. I bought my little Tecsun back in November, and since then it has followed me around everywhere, traveling, and on camping trips, all over my yard as I have worked. It has fallen 4+ feet with nary an issue. It has been subject to constant condensation, dampness, and humidity in the Florida outdoors. Last night took the cake though, as I found it in an inch of water in the back of my apparently now leaking Jeep. It was trying its hardest to run, even underwater. I promptly removed it, disassembled it and dried everything off. Let it rest until this morning, put it all back together, and if it doesn't work just as well as the day I got it. Truly a tough radio!

You actually don't want a lot of bass when you are trying to pick out words from an SW station from the other side of the planet! The Stereo FM and Bluetooth is a luxury on this type of receiver! I DO use the Bluetooth function with a Bluetooth enabled mp3 player for "Old time radio" shows, as it's fun to listen to them on an actual radio! PS: It's good for "Podcasts" too!
