The only other trick is the brake switch cable. I have a manual so I don't want to hook it up to my brake pedal. Then I would have to hold the clutch and disengage to start my car. This is not a simple way of finding a cable to ground, it's looking for a 12vdc signal, so you'll want to hook it up to allow you to always have 12vdc if you're trying to avoid a tripping pedal switch.

If you want to skip the brake line (make sure you squeeze the brake before starting), you can simply plug the green brake line into the IGN 2 or the fixed wire.
